MEET THE TEAM
Julian F. Alwill is a partner at Rothschild & Alwill, APC focused on the practice of employment law. Handling all stages of representation for both employees and employers in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, and the surrounding Southern California area, Mr. Alwill provides assistance and counsel on:

Since 2008, after his clerkship for a federal magistrate, Mr. Alwill has successfully advocated for clients in both state and federal courts. His skill in achieving favorable outcomes and thorough, comprehensive representation of clients have earned him a “Super Lawyer” designation for seven consecutive years, an “Excellent” Avvo rating, and an “AV Preeminent” designation from Martindale-Hubbell – the highest level of professional excellence as judged by his legal peers.
Mr. Alwill remains active in the legal community even when not working to advance his clients’ interests. He is a member of numerous organizations, including the Santa Barbara Bar Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association. Additionally, Mr. Alwill expends considerable effort furthering education in the field of employment law by teaching classes and giving seminars to legal professionals and the public at large. Since 2019, Mr. Alwill has been a professor of contracts and torts at the local law school.
